The Process:
1. Impression Time: We carefully capture your baby’s hand or foot print, or your pet’s paw print, in clay.
2. Finishing Touches: We carefully finish the edges and add any requested details.
3. Drying Time: Your impression is stored flat until fully dry (this can take up to a few weeks depending on season).
4. Firing Up: We bisque fire your impression to prepare it for decorating.
5. Decoration & Personalization: Our service includes full decoration and any requested writing or stamping.
6. Ready to Display: Your finished impression is ready to hang (if you’ve chosen our framing service) and enjoy!

Goodbye Wednesday, Hello Weekdays!
Instead of just one Wednesday a month, you can now book a Clay Impression session with us any weekday, from 10 am to 3 pm (subject to staff availability).

Deposit Details:
We require a £30 deposit when booking, which will be redeemed against your impressions on the day of printing.
Bring the Whole Family!
You’re welcome to bring siblings along to have all your children printed together.

Please give us an idea of how many impressions you may require so we can be better prepared. Don’t worry, you can change this on the day.
Deposit Policy:
Deposits are non-refundable or transferable within 7 days prior to the event.

- Any Impressions made in December will NOT be ready in time for Christmas.
- Please note… Clay Impressions have a turn-around time of approximately 6 weeks so book early if you need them as gifts.

A Little Note About Our Clay Impressions (and Willing Participants!):
We’ll do our absolute best to capture those perfect little prints, but let’s be honest, babies, toddlers, and pets are strong-willed creatures! If they’re not feeling it on the day, we promise we won’t get into a wrestling match with them. 😉
The Kiln Gods & Other Clay Adventures:
We take great care to ensure your clay impressions are completed and returned to you in perfect condition. However, on rare occasions, impressions can crack during drying or the firing process.
There are a number of reasons why this can happen, none of which are due to lack of care and attention. It’s simply that the nature of working with clay has its risks. Sometimes, we’re just in the hands of the Kiln Gods!
Our Promise to You:
If the Kiln Gods aren’t on our side and your impression is damaged or cracked while in our care, we will, of course, replace it by re-booking you for the following impressions day.
Please note that we do not offer refunds for impressions, only replacements.
